Modified Silicone Adhesive

Modified Silicone Adhesive or also termed as Silyl Modified Polyether is the latest sealant technology being developed without any inclusion of isocyanate in the system. MS or STPU adhesive has the bonding strength comparable to any structural adhesive with sealing functions that run parallel to RTV silicone sealant. 

This alcohol-based sealant will not contaminate the working environment due to its non-toxic substances release during the hardening process and it does not emit any strong smell like acetic silicone sealant and has been classified as free from volatile organic compound.

The moisture curing modified silicone has the convenience of curing at normal temperature, fast setting that allows higher throughput, good flexibility & elongation, high strength, optimal operating serviceable temperatures, and able to bond to wide varieties of materials that are used by the industries such as Optics, Electronics, Lighting, Plastic housings, Automotives, Buildings & Construction

These high-performance modified silicone adhesives do not contain any isocyanate in their formulation having good flexibility and able to bond strongly to most materials including metals, engineering plastics, fiberglass, composite, glass, and many more. 

A stark difference between Everwide Chemical's STPU adhesive from ordinary silicone is that there will not be any kind of silane leaching during the aging process that may cause corrosion to metal surfaces which is absolutely critical for the electronics assembly.
